Plant Care Guide

• Light: Bright indirect light is essential to maintain the vivid pink and yellow colouration. More light = more colour. Avoid direct sun which can scorch the leaves.
• Watering: Water when the top 2–3 cm of the mix is dry. This hybrid is sensitive to overwatering — always err on the side of slightly dry rather than wet.
• Humidity: Prefers 70–85% humidity. A humidifier will help it thrive and push out more colourful new growth.
• Temperature: Best between 18–28°C. Keep away from cold windows, drafts, and air conditioning vents.
• Soil: Use a well-draining, chunky aroid mix with orchid bark, perlite, and coco coir. Roots need air as much as moisture.
• Fertiliser: Feed every 3–4 weeks in the growing season with a balanced fertiliser at half strength. Avoid over-fertilising which can burn roots.
• New growth: New leaves may emerge in shades of pink or orange before maturing — this is completely normal and one of the most exciting parts of owning this plant!
